Content Guidelines

These rules apply to uploaded images, story ideas, prompts, generated results, sharing, and exports.

Effective: 2026-08-01 · Updated: 2026-08-01

01

You must have permission

Upload only content you created, are expressly authorized to use, or may lawfully use. Do not impersonate others or violate copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, or other rights.

02

Prohibited content

We prohibit illegal activity, exploitation or abuse, explicit sexual content, non-consensual intimate content, hate or harassment, graphic violence, encouragement of self-harm, dangerous instructions, fraud, malware, and attempts to bypass safety systems.

03

Personal and sensitive data

Do not upload identity documents, payment cards, credentials, exact addresses, contact details, medical records, or other unnecessary sensitive data. Obtain necessary permission before uploading images involving another person.

04

Intellectual property and public figures

Do not request copies of protected characters, a living artist's distinctive style, brand marks, or misleading public-figure content. Describe general visual qualities and create original characters instead.

05

Generation limits and appeals

The AI generation provider checks inputs and outputs under its safety rules and may reject real-person, public-figure, sensitive, or prohibited content with a general reason. Doodle to Story also blocks clearly prohibited text and unsafe files. Safety rejections should not consume the related generation credits; disputes may be sent to support.
